THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT BPW Canada requests the Employment and Immigration Commission to encourage the increased participation of women in retraining programs which lead to jobs traditionally held by men, such as institutional and industrial training programs in which workers train under the supervision of qualified trades people, and which lead to well-paid skilled jobs in occupations held generally by men.
