Increase Contributions to Registered Retirement Savings Plan – 1980

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Canadian Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs request that the Government of Canada give consideration to increasing the allowable contributions to the lesser of 30 per cent of earned income or $5,000 for members of a Registered Pension Plan, and the lesser of 30 per cent of earned income or $7,000 for non-members of a Registered Pension Plan.
