THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT BPW Canada urges the political parties of Canada, in particular the three main political parties, to put in place the necessary mechanisms and incentives to encourage them to ensure that an equal number of electoral candidates are women, and therefore the candidates are more representative of the general population of Canada.
