THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT BPW Canada urges the Government of Canada to:1. Initiate the recommendation of the House of Commons’ Consumer Affairs Committee by placing a floating cap on Credit Card rates so that they will automatically move up and down with the Central Bank rate, and the loan rate respectively.2. Mandate Federal Department of Consumer and Corporate Affairs to ensure equity for borrowing and lending for consumers in the market place between all issuers of credit.
