THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT BPW Clubs in every province and territory requests the Government in their jurisdiction to: 1) authorize and make available programs for use in schools at all levels which encourage critical evaluation of all media programs, especially those of a violent nature; 2) develop skills that will enable students to view critically the violence and other forms of abuse, stereotyping and opinion presented on television and in other media sources.
