THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT BPW Canada requests that, in the National interest and to encourage the effective integration of one million new women workers into the Canadian Labour force by 1970, the Economic Council of Canada study the social, business and industrial attitudes which affect women’s motivation in education and employment, with a view to suggesting changes in today�s social, educational and industrial policies toward women (including vocational guidance employment recruitment, rates of pay, promotion, training and retraining, hours of work, work techniques, social services, etc.) thereby to encourage women to develop personal plans for a career as part of the national effort to enhance the quality of Canadian life, andFURTHER BE IT RESOLVED THAT BPW Canada cooperate in any way possible and that representation on the Economic Council is considered desirable.
