Screening for Breast Cancer – 1994

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT BPW Canada urges the Government of Canada to:(a)Increase the funding for research into screening and early detection methods for breast cancer; and(b)Through Health Canada, encourage all Provincial Health Ministries to make self-referral privileges to screening facilities for breast cancer available to women over the age of 50 years and to do so with all due haste.
