THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT BPW Canada urges the Minister of Justice To make amendments to the Criminal Code of Canada, to protect the rights and confidential records of victims of rape and assault at Rape Crisis Centres or Sexual Assault Centres and not allow confidential information to be subpoenaed in a court proceeding to be used against the victim.
