THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT BPW CANADA commends the Government of Canada for its record of leadership in condemning human rights violations and urges Canada to continue doing so by working within the United Nations to remedy deficiencies in the wording of the International Convention for the Protection of Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of their Families.FURTHER BE OT RESOLVED THAT BPW CANADA asks the Government of Canada to ratify the International Convention for the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of their Families at the earliest possible date.
