Gender Bias of Judges in the Federal Judicial System – 1992

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT BPW Canada petitions the Government of Canada to establish training courses on gender-based social and economic inequities and gender bias; these course to be conducted by trained professionals in the fields of sexual assault, family abuse and violence against women and include input from women who have experienced these assaults.FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED THAT these courses be compulsory for all federally appointed judges.
