THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT BPW Canada urges the Government of Canada to increase the funding allocated to Family Literacy Programs which will allow for proactive, rather than reactive programming. FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED THAT BPW Canada urges the Federal Minister of Education to encourage the Provincial Ministers of Education to develop and fund more programs in this area.AND FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED THAT BPW Canada urges local clubs and provincial organizations to encourage the Provincial Ministers of Education to develop and fund more Family Literacy Programs.
