THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT BPW Canada to:1. Strengthen and broaden the covenants of the Legislated Employment Equity Program. 2. Provide a legislative base including enforcement capabilities for the Federal Contractors’ Program. 3. Provide a legislative base including enforcement capabilities for Departments within the Government of Canada. 4. Provide supporting services and programs to assist in meeting the goals of employment equity as outlined in the paper A Matter of Fairness” which was recently submitted to the Government.”
