THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT this Convention immediately communicate, via telegram, with the Minister of Justice, the Honourable Jean Chretien, station:The Canadian Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, in its 28th Biennial Convention, request the Minister of Justice to withdraw from Bill 53, the contentious sections on group sex, child pornography and sexual exploitation of the young and proceed immediately with passage of the remaining sections.””
