THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT CFBPWC urges the Government of Canada to expedite revisions to the Income Tax Act incorporating new incentives for the non-custodial parent to pay child support by providing a tax credit (rather than a deduction) to the non-custodial parent, or a tax reduction available only to the non-custodial parent who voluntarily pays for child support.
