Campaign for Federal Statute to Ensure Pay Equity – 1976

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT this Biennial Convention authorize the formation of a committee to be appointed by the incoming executive committee to make plans to direct a campaign for an all out effort by the Federation to obtain within the next two years a federal statute which will make effective provision to ensure enumeration to women and men employed in work requiring the same skill, effort, training, experience, etc.; andFURTHER BE IT RESOLVED THAT this Committee have power to appoint subcommittee as necessary to the various parts of the project.
