THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT BPW Canada requestss the Government of Canada to review the qualifications required by the Act for directorship of chartered banks, and amend the Bank Act by repealing Section 18 s.s. 2 and developing qualifications that enable less affluent though competent women and men to be eligible for these offices.
