Opening Ceremonies were conducted Friday at the Global Centre of Pluralism with Keynote Speaker Chief Commissioner Marie Claude Landry of the Canadian Human Rights Commission as the keynote speaker. Friday’s events honoured the 70th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
The theme for the Convention Gala was Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) with Keynote Speaker Senator Lillian Eva Dyck. The Convention included member recognition: leadership award recipient Jami Young of BPW Saskatoon, and years of service for 20 years and up. A new BPW Canada board was installed.
