BPW Barrie hosted the BPW Ontario Conference and BPW Canada Convention from June 18 – 20, 2020.
The focus of the CSW54 was on the accomplishments over the last 15 years and the challenges in the future. It has been 15 years since the adoption of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action at the Fourth World Conference on Women. The CSW focused on assessing what has been achieved since the Beijing Conference and outlining priority actions going forward. The Commission discussed the following four areas or priority importance to women:
In addition, there were nearly 100 side events. BPW International sponsored workshops for Life Long Learning Program included Empowerment Tools and Emotional Intelligence, Equal PayDay and Diversity.
