THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT BPW Canada re-affirms its request to the Government of Canada to explore the feasibility of(1) crediting to the spouse remaining at home a portion of the contributions of the employed spouse; and those contributions made by the employer on the employed spouse’s behalf; and(2) on an optional basis, permitting the spouse at home to contribute as self-employed worker.
