THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Canadian Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs urge the Federal Government to amend the Income Tax Act, Section 56(1)(b) and (c) to allow child support payments received to be tax free by the recipient and not as taxable income.
