Income Tax Exemption for Supporting Other Dependents – 1984

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the CFBPWC urge the Government of Canada to not consider as income the allowance from the Canada Pension Plan or the Quebec Pension Plan, Old Age Security and Guaranteed Income Supplement, when establishing an exemption for supporting a dependent and this in order to encourage taxpayers to take charge of old age people.
