THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Canadian Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs request the Government of Canada to made provisions under the Income Tax Act so that interest received from municipal debentures is subject to a 20% tax credit in order to encourage investment in municipal debentures.
