Deduction for Child Care Expenses – 1970

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Canadian Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs request the Government of Canada, when considering legislation on Chapter 2, Section 8 of Proposals for Tax Reform – 1969 (the Benson White Paper on Taxation) entitled Child Care Expenses”, to make provision in such legislation which would allow deduction of child care expenses where a parent in the home is incapable of caring for the children.”
