Exemption for Housekeeping Service – 1968

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Canadian Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs request the Government of Canada to amend the Income Tax Act to include an exemption up to a maximum of $1,500.00 per year for working women who find it necessary to employ the services of others in the home and day care outside the home in order to help maintain the home for their families.
