THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT BPW Canada strongly urges the Government of Canada and the Department of Labour to:(a) Ensure that employers institute programs of awareness and education regarding sexual harassment in the working establishments;(b) Declare sexual harassment a hazard under Part IV of the Canada Labour Code; and(c) Enforce the Canadian Human Rights Act and the Canadian Labour Code regarding sexual harassment in timely fashion and with appropriate penalties.
