THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT Canada be represented at the World Conference of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs to be held at Geneva on the 23rd, 24th and 25th of August, 1930, and that this Convention appoint our Dominion President, Miss Dorothy A. Heneker, to represent Canada at that Conference; and that she be empowered to enter this Canadian Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs into a World Federation, providing that the policies and powers of such an organization do not conflict with our own, and that she considers the fee to be purely nominal; and that if this new organization is formed that she initiate that Canada’s opinion is that it shall be called a World Federation” rather than “International Federation”.”
