Boycott States not Supporting the E.R.A. – 1980

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT BPW Canada urges the Government of Canada to adopt a policy of not approving attendance by employees or members of the legislature representing Canada at conferences and conventions in states of the United States of America that have not adopted the Equal Rights Amendment.FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED THAT BPW Canada urges all members and Clubs in the Canadian Federation to act to promote the adoption by all Provincial Governments and all major Regional or Municipal Governments, and all international business or professional associations of a policy of not approving attendance by employees or members of their governments or associations at conferences and conventions in states of the U.S.A. that have not approved the E.R.A.
