THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT BPW Canada in convention assembled at Vancouver, B.C., place itself on record as deploring the apparent lack of satisfactory progress in the work of the technical committee of the Conference for the Limitation and Reduction of Armaments, and urges that the Government of Canada maintain full representation at Geneva throughout the period of the Conference, and that the General Commission or Conference decide to take a definite step towards world disarmament in spite of any adverse opinion which experts might put forward in consideration of the obvious difficulties involved; andFURTHER BE IT RESOLVED THAT copies of this Resolution be sent to the Right Honourable Arthur Henderson, President of the Conference for the Limitation and Reduction of Armaments, and to the Right Honourable R. B. Bennett, Prime Minister of Canada.
