THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT BPW Canada urges the Government of Canada to withdraw current GST proposals and re-open negotiations with the provinces regarding a lower combined Federal and Provincial tax rate based on visibility for the consumer, reduced compliance problems for small businesses, non tax cascading, and no exemptions;FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED THAT BPW Canada urges the Government of Canada to increase the small trader�s threshold from $30,000 to $75,000;FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED THAT BPW Canada re-affirms Resolution 88/21, Sections (1) and (2) as written.
