THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT BPW Canada encourages clubs throughout Canada to take steps to become knowledgeable about the impact of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms through conferences, seminars and guest speakers.FURTHER BE RESOLVED THAT BPW Canada urges members and clubs to promote interest and public awareness of the impact of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms through press releases, media and speakers;AND FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED THAT BPW Canada provides financial support for the litigation and lobbying of issues of particular concern to women arising out of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, and that all clubs and individual members be encouraged to contribute to this cause.
