THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT BPW Canada:1. Congratulates the Government of Canada for having appointed the National Advisory Council on Voluntary Action, and express to them our concurrence, in general, with its report.2. Urges the Government of Canada to:(1) Examine the definition of charity”, with a view to substituting a legal definition more closely in keeping with the reality of voluntary activity as described in the Report of the National Advisory Council on Voluntary Action.(2) Improve the access of national voluntary associations to government translation and interpretation facilities.”
