THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT BPW Canada:1) Re-affirm the intent of controlling the increase of pornography in our society as evidence by Emergency Resolution #1/83 and Resolution 27/84 and further expand the resolutions to include pornographic computer games;2) Strongly urges the Government of Canada to ban the sale of these computer games and other pornographic material to minors and to enact legislation to penalize merchants for such sales; and3) Strongly urges all Provincial BPW Organizations to lobby their Provincial Governments to urge the Government of Canada to enact legislation as requested in item 2.
