Listing all Ingredients on Consumer Products – 1994

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT BPW Canada urges the Government of Canada to enforce requirements for the listing of ALL ingredients on packaging of consumer products.FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED THAT BPW Canada urges the Government of Canada to:(a) Ban the use of formaldehyde and formaldehyde releasing agents, especially in the production or contents of household, cleaning and personal care products; and(b) Encourage research and manufacturing of suitable safe alternatives to formaldehyde and formaldehyde releasing agents for use in production of consumer products.
