Implement Principle of Equal Pay for Equal Work – 1954

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT BPW Canada requests the Government of Canada to implement the principle of Equal Pay for Equal Work by the enactment of an Equal Pay Act; andBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT BPW Canada invites the National Council of Women, the Canadian Congress of Labour, and the Trades and Labour Council of Canada to support our application to the Government of Canada for such legislation.
