THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the BPW Vancouver, requests the Federal Government, through the Minister of Justice, to amend the Criminal Code so that indeterminate sentences may be given to persons convicted of sex crimes, in order that they may receive treatment and be kept away from society until pronounced by a competent Board, including a psychiatrist, to be ready to return to life in the community.(See also: Resolutions 1964-26 and 1964-27, Section 700.10)
